Faurecia: tracks real-time pollution emissions in Singapore
(CercleFinance.com) - Following a call for innovation from Singapore's National Environmental Agency, the Faurecia Group has announced that it has been awarded a pilot project in the country, for a period of two years, which is dedicated to the real-time monitoring of polluting emissions from a fleet of commercial vehicles.
"In partnership with DHL Express, the world's leading international express services provider, Faurecia will equip a fleet of commercial vehicles with sensors to monitor NOx and fine particulates in real time using a unique sensing technology currently being developed by Faurecia," the group said.
In this context, Faurecia will provide a digital dashboard offering real-time information on the level of emissions from vehicles. The user will be able to interact with drivers, and make personalised recommendations so they can reduce their environmental footprint.
