Sanofi: signs agreement for sale of Zentiva
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi and Advent International have announced the finalisation of the negotiations for Advent's acquisition of Zentiva, Sanofi's European generic business, with the signing of a contract to buy shares amounting to 1.
9 billion euros.
The signing of this agreement is a crucial step towards the closure of the deal and the transfer of Zentiva to adwind, which is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018.
The deal remains subject to authorisation by the competent regulatory authorities. For the record, Sanofi and Advent International had announced that they had begun exclusive negotiations on this issue on 17 April this year.
