Bouygues: first 5G contracts for Bouygues Telecom
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, Bouygues Telecom, subsidiary of the French conglomerate Bouygues, revised its range of mobile telephone contracts, with the operator now offering so called 5G compatible contracts.
The group said that the 5G network is set to open in urban areas towards the end of 2020.
These contracts now enable users to benefit from a wide range of mobile data options, with users now able to choose between 60 Go, 90 Go and 120 Go. However, nothing actually says whether clients will be able to have 5G at the year-end: according the JDD the minister of Ecology Elisabeth Borne and the minister of Health Olivier Véran have requested a moratorium on the deployment of this technology in France.
