Bouygues: 'confidence' and 'optimism' - Oddo a buyer
(CercleFinance.com) - After a meeting with Bouygues' management, an analyst at Oddo BHF today maintains his "buy" rating on the Bouygues share, appreciating a certain "confidence" in construction and "optimism" in telephony.
In the broker's opinion, Bouygues' path reflects an unfair deterioration in market sentiment: [first] the prospects in construction remain obscured by the warning last October that Oddo considers as being overplayed, [then] despite the promotional environment, telecoms are proving their resilience and should benefit from a strong growth momentum in B2B; [finally], Oddo expects a generous dividend from Alstom in the year, Oddo BHF says.
Noting that this is a sound and rare opportunity, the broker confirms its target price of 44 euros, meaning upside potential of +34%.
