Safran: new CEO to be appointed
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran announces that its Board of Directors has chosen Olivier Andries to succeed Philippe Petitcolin as CEO effective from 1 January 2021.
Note that this will be after a one-year transition period starting on 1 January 2020.
On this date, Olivier Andries will be appointed CEO of the high tech group. He will dedicate next year to specific missions under the authority of Philippe Petitcolin.
has acquired solid operational experience over the past 10 years in the Group's Defence and Security activities (2009-2011) and Propulsion activities since 2011. Since June 2015, he has been chairman of Safran Aicraft Engines (Snecma).
