Atos: backs Airbus OneWeb satellite program
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced that it has backed OneWeb in the successful launch of 6 satellites on 27 February, providing all the equipment Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT), while conducting the world's first mass production of satellites.
Atos supports the Airbus OneWeb Sallelites' OneWeb Satellites Constellation program, which designs, develops, manufactures and tests over 600 satellites that will provide affordable broadband Internet access worldwide.
With the delivery of 80 EGSE systems for Airbus OneWeb Satellites production lines in Toulouse and Florida, Atos is Airbus OneWeb Satellite's preferential supplier of satellites for ground-based electrical equipment (EGSE).
