Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 1.6% in October
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced total passenger traffic that is up 1.
6% in October, based on capacity that is up 1.1%, which has led to a 0.5-point improvement in its load factor to 88%.
Specifically, passenger traffic of its networks (Air France and KLM) rose by 2%, boosted by routes to North America (+5.9%) and Latin America (+5.6%), while its low cost division saw a 1.6% fall.
Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's cargo traffic fell by 7.2% last month, based on capacity that rose by 0.6%, which resulted in a 4.9-point fall in its load factor to 58.5%.
