Air France-KLM: losses increase in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has published a Q1 2019 net loss, group share of 320 million euros, 51 million euros worse than a year ago, with an operating loss of 303 million, down 185 million euros.


However, the airline announced a 3% increase in passenger numbers, while its load factor fell by 0.3 point, as well as a unit revenue that fell 1.9%, as Easter fell in Q2 this year, while there was an increase in sector capacity this winter.

Air France-KLM's management confirmed its annual outlook and will in particular continue its efforts to reduce costs, aiming to cut costs by up to 1% at constant exchange rates and fuel prices.
