Nokia: arbitration ruling on licenses.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce has issued its decision for a binding arbitration between the Finnish group and LG Electronics concerning a patent license.
Both companies previously agreed that this decision would establish obligations for the payment of royalties for a smartphone patent license granted by Nokia Technologies, as announced in June 2015.
Without revealing the details, the telecom equipment manufacturer expects to book payback income, which will be non-recurrent in Q3, with additional revenues expected during the terms of the agreement.
