Repsol: potential sale of shares in Gas Natural?
(CercleFinance.com) - Repsol is considering a potential sale of its 20% stake in Gas Natural's capital, a stake worth 4.
4 billion dollars, according to a Bloomberg article quoting closely related sources.
Bloomberg explains that via this deal the Spanish oil company would like to raise funds, which it could then invest in areas such as renewable energy.
According to Bloomberg, potential acquirers would include one or more investment funds. It is pointed out however, that no decision has been taken at present and that Repsol may still choose to keep its stake.
