BBVA: could sell real estate assets to Cerberus.

(CercleFinance.com) - BBVA appears to be in exclusive talks with the investment fund Cerberus in order to sell a portfolio of real estate assets worth two billion euros, according to Aurel BGC quoting the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial.

The broker's analysts also report that the discussions could include Anida, a real estate subsidiary of the Spanish bank, which would also interest the US investment fund.

As a reminder, the group sold its subsidiary BBVA Autorenting to ALD in May and, in late August, announced that it was in talks with the Canadian Scotiabank for the sale of its Chilean subsidiary.
