Novo Nordisk: continues share buybacks
(CercleFinance.com) - Denmark's Novo Nordisk said on Monday that it has now bought back over 2 million of its own shares as part of its current share buyback program.
Between 27 August and 31 August the drugmaker repurchased 370,000 B shares at prices of between 316.52 Danish kronor and 318.09 Danish kronor, it said in a statement.
Under the program which began last month, Novo Nordisk plans to repurchase B shares totalling up to 2.4 billion Danish kronor in the period to 30 October 2018.
By 4 pm this afternoon, Novo B shares were down 0.8% at 312 Danish kronor.
