Bayer: submits hemophilia A drug for European approval.
(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's Bayer has applied to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the approval of a hemophilia A drug codenamed BAY94-9027, the company said on Thursday.
Bayer said in a statement that study data revealed that the drug protected patients from bleeds when used prophylactically once every seven days, once every five days, and twice per week.
Bayer had already submitted a marketing application to the US FDA last month.
