Valeant: disappointing annual forecasts
(CercleFinance.com) - The Valeant stock is expected open down on Wednesday, due to disappointing annual forecasts and mixed Q4 results.
The Canadian pharmaceutical group aims to generate revenue of between 8.1 billion and 8.3 billion dollars in 2018, below the 8.38 billion dollars expected by analysts.
Regarding Q4 2017, the group posted EPS of 1.45 dollars, against a loss of approximately 1.47 dollar per share, although saw its revenues fall from 2.4 billion to 2.16 billion dollars. The consensus was expecting EPS of 97 cents and revenues of 2.18 billion dollars.
