KBC: places 500 million euros of AT1 bonds
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday KBC successfully placed 500 million euros in Additional Tier-1 bonds with institutional investors in Europe and Asia, the Belgian financial group said on Wednesday.
The issue, which was four times oversubscribed to, will enable KBC to maintain an "optimal capital structure," the group said.
This AT1 instrument will have an initial coupon of 4.75% per annum, payable twice per year, it said.
