Assystem: annual operating profit up by nearly 8%

5m for 2024, compared with E102.8m the previous year, but ROPA (operating profit from ordinary activities) up 7.8% to E40.3m, representing a margin of 6.6% compared with 6.5% in 2023.
Sales rose by 5.3% to E611.3m, including 5.2% on an organic basis, 0.3% from changes in its consolidation scope and 0.3% from exchange rates. Sales rose by 3.8% organically in France and by 7.9% internationally.
For the past year, the engineering firm, which operates mainly in the nuclear sector, will propose the payment of a stable ordinary dividend of one euro per share to shareholders at the AGM on 23 May.
In view of the trends observed at the start of the year, and taking into account an uncertain environment, Assystem has set itself the target of slight organic growth in sales and a stable operating margin in 2025.
