Alstom: maintenance contract with Swedish operator SJ
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the signature of a new contract with Swedish operator SJ for the maintenance of night trains.
The two-year contract covers maintenance work at the Luleå and Stockholm depots. This is an important milestone marking Alstom's long-term commitment to northern Sweden through increased investment and recruitment of maintenance personnel.
The contract covers 75 cars and 12 RC6 locomotives used on the Stockholm-Umeå-Luleå-Narvik night train lines.
This new contract is part of Alstom's long-term strategy for northern Sweden, where the company also recently signed a ten-year full maintenance contract for the Norrtåg fleet.
