Airbus: helicopter order from Air Methods
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces an agreement with Air Methods, the leading provider of air medical care in the US, to expand its fleet with the acquisition of H140 helicopters, as well as 10 H125s and 11 H135s, to support its missions across the country.
As the world's largest civilian operator of Airbus helicopters, Air Methods operates a large fleet of Airbus models, including H125s, H130s, H135s and H145s, the European aircraft manufacturer says.
The H140, a three-tonne rotorcraft, rounds out Airbus Helicopters' current range of light twin-engine helicopters. It is set to be commissioned in the emergency medical services segment in 2028.
