(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Germany's Vitronet Holding by US-based BlackRock.
The transaction mainly concerns the infrastructure construction sector, particularly in the fields of water, energy and telecommunications.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not give rise to any competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
