GE Vernova: acquires Woodward's turbine parts business
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces that it has completed the acquisition of Woodward's heavy gas turbine combustion parts business, based in Greenville, South Carolina.
According to GE Vernova, this transaction plays a key role in GE Vernova's strategy to invest in US industry and employment, while strengthening its domestic supply chain.
The acquisition complements a $160m investment plan and the recruitment of 650 employees in Greenville.
The integrated team will be led by Shane Long, and financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
