Carrefour : UBS trims target price
(CercleFinance.com) - UBS believes that the difficult outlook for 2025 is largely price-related.
The analyst confirms his Neutral recommendation on the stock, lowering his target price for it to E13 (from E14). This new TP represents 3% upside potential for the stock.
We have reduced the group's EBIT forecast by 5% for FY 2025 and expect 4% growth compared with FY 2024; the shares value the weak outlook at around 7x P/E, UBS says.
Remember that Carrefour has announced a net income, group share, of E723m for 2024, compared with E1,659m in 2023. Adjusted net income, group share, was E1,081m, vs. E1,221m in 2023.
