Alstom: new locomotive order from CLIP Intermodal
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the signature of a contract with CLIP Intermodal for the delivery of third-generation Traxx multisystem locomotives.
The order will include five locomotives, which will be approved for operation in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
The rolling stock will be manufactured at Alstom's site in Kassel, Germany, while the locomotive bodies will be produced at Alstom's site in Wroclaw, Poland.
The group had already placed a first order in the first quarter of 2024. The two companies had already signed contracts for the delivery of 13 Traxx multisystem locomotives.
We are convinced that the Traxx locomotives will strengthen CLIP Intermodal's position and enable it to continue its dynamic development for low-emission European transport, Alstom said.
