Thales: MoU with Edge Group in UAE
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, Thales announced the signature of a memorandum of understanding with Earth, a subsidiary of the Emirati group Edge, to which the French electronics manufacturer will notably supply IFF identification systems.
The partnership is part of the UAE's strategy to equip its unmanned and remotely piloted combat and reconnaissance aircraft (UAVs) with advanced technologies.
Thales is a strategic partner of the UAE in the fields of aeronautics, digital and cybersecurity, with about 550 employees in the country.
