
Engie: targets raised for 2025
(CercleFinance.com) - On announcing its annual results, Engie has raised its target for recurring net income, group share 'NI gs) for 2025 to between E4.
4bn and E5bn, as well as its target for EBIT excluding nuclear power to between E8bn and E9bn.
The energy group also raises its target range for 2026 NI gs to E4.2bn-E4.8bn, and says that it is aiming for 2027 NIgs of between E4.4bn and E5bn, with EBIT excluding nuclear power expected to be between E9bn and E10bn.
For 2024, Engie published NI gs that increased 85.9% to E4.1bn, despite a 6.2% decline in EBIT excluding nuclear power to E8.9bn (-5.6% in organic terms), on sales down 10.6% at E73.8bn (-10.7% in organic terms).
The Board of Directors proposes to distribute 65% of the NI gs for the past year, representing a dividend of E1.48 per share. This proposal will be submitted to shareholders for approval at the AGM on 24 April.
