
Safran: ANA Holdings orders more than 75 engines
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran today announced that ANA Holdings has placed an order for more than 75 CFM International LEAP engines for its 737 MAX and A321neo fleets, including both installed and spare engines.
CFM International is a 50/50 joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines.
ANA Holdings exercised 10 options in 2022 on an order for LEAP-1B-powered 737 MAX aircraft to be operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA).
In concrete terms, these engines will power up to 35 aircraft operated by ANA and its subsidiaries, and will power 13 A321neo aircraft and up to 22 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
