GSK: launches share buyback program
(CercleFinance.com) - GSK announces the launch of its share buyback program, as announced when it unveiled its results on 5 February 2025.
The program provides for a return of £2bn to shareholders over 18 months, with a first tranche of £0.7bn starting today.
GSK has entered into an agreement with Citigroup Global Markets Limited, which will carry out the purchases independently from 24 February to 13 June 2025.
The shares purchased will be held as treasury shares.
The program is designed to return surplus capital and improve EPS.
