Repsol: net profit -45% at E1.756bn in 2024

756bn in 2024, down 45% on the previous year (E3.168bn).
Adjusted earnings, which specifically measure the company's performance, came in at E3.327bn, down 34% from E5.011bn in 2023.
Results for 2024 were influenced by a complex geopolitical context; lower crude oil, gas and electricity prices; moderate margins in refining; and low margins in chemicals, it says.
Last year, we made good progress on the strategic lines we defined for the period 2024-2027, buoyed by a solid performance in our businesses, which enabled us to increase our dividend and investments. In 2025, we will continue on this path, once again meeting our commitments in terms of shareholder remuneration and maintaining our financial strength and investments in order to pursue our profitable growth, it said.
