Eramet: NI down 60% in 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Eramet reports a 60% fall in net income (group share), excluding SLN, to E144m for 2024, and an 11% fall in adjusted EBITDA, excluding SLN, to E814m, despite a 'positive intrinsic performance.
The mining and metals group's adjusted sales (excluding SLN) fell by 7% to E3.38bn (-5% on a like-for-like basis), with a negative price effect (-3%) due to lower prices in the nickel and mineral sands activities.
At the AGM on 27 May, a proposal will be made to pay a dividend of E1.5 per share for 2024, reflecting the group's commitment to its shareholders, but also its confidence in the future, including in times of cyclical downturn.
In 2025, in an unstable and complex economic and geopolitical environment, we will remain focused on ramping up Centenario and on the operating performance of each of our sites, it says.
