
Legrand: slight increase in annual NI

6% increase in net income (group share) to nearly E1.17bn for 2024, with an adjusted operating margin down 0.5 point to 20.5% of sales (20.6% before acquisitions).
Sales for the electrical equipment supplier rose by 2.8% to E8.65bn. In a building market that was depressed in many regions, organic sales rose by 1% (+1.4% in mature countries and -0.1% in new economies).
At the AGM on 27 May, the Board of Directors will propose a dividend of E2.20 per share for 2024, up 5% and representing a payout ratio close to 50%. The ex-dividend date will be 29 May, with payment on 2 June.
Legrand's targets for 2025 include sales growth of +6% to +10% (organic and by acquisition, excluding currency effects) and an adjusted operating margin (after acquisitions) broadly stable compared with 2024.
