Bosch: EU approves acquisition of JCI
(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations, the European Commission has cleared the acquisition of sole control of Johnson Controls International (JCI), Ireland, by Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch), Germany.
The transaction mainly concerns the residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment sector.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not give rise to competition concerns, given the limited combined market position of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
