Siemens: maintenance contract for the Kuala Lumpur metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Mobility has announced that it has been awarded the technical assistance and spare parts supply contract by SMH Rail for the Klang Valley MRT line in Kuala Lumpur.
The 40-month maintenance contract, scheduled to run for eight years, includes the supply of components, technical supervision and staff training.
This operation will strengthen Siemens' presence in Malaysia, following its involvement in the Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT line.
