Crédit Agricole: Q4 net income up almost a third

(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole SA reports underlying net income (group share) that is up 32.
8% to E1.73bn for Q4 2024, with underlying gross operating income up 40.4% to E3.24bn.

Also on an underlying basis, its cost/income ratio improved by 7.2 points to 54.5%, as the 4.4% rise in operating expenses to E3.88bn was largely absorbed by the 18.2% increase in revenues to E7.12bn.

This growth was driven by growth in the savings management and insurance division (+31.6%), whose growth was driven by the increase in assets under management in all business lines, and which takes into account the integration of Degroof Petercam, it says.

Claiming to have exceeded all the financial targets of its Ambitions 2025 plan by 2024, Crédit Agricole intends to propose a dividend of E1.10 per share for the past financial year, up 5% on the previous year.
