Baker Hughes: multi-year contract with ExxonMobil in Guyana
(CercleFinance.com) - Baker Hughes announces that it has been awarded a multi-year contract by ExxonMobil Guyana to supply specialty chemicals and associated services to the Uaru and Whiptail offshore projects, located in the Stabroek Block.
The contract covers the needs of the Errea Wittu and Jaguar floating production, storage and offloading units, which will begin production in 2026 and 2027.
Baker Hughes assures that it has set up local supply chains to ensure a reliable and efficient source of chemicals adapted to the specific needs of these projects.
These projects, which have up to 20 drilling centers and 92 wells, will increase the country's oil production capacity to around 1.3 million barrels per day.
