
LVMH: 2024 net income -17% at E12.6bn
(CercleFinance.com) - In 2024, LVMH Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy achieved sales of E84.
7bn, with organic growth of +1% (-2% reported).
Fashion & Leather Goods posted sales of E41.06bn, virtually flat at -1% on an organic basis (-3% reported).
Europe and the US reported LFL growth. Japan posted double-digit sales growth. The rest of Asia reflects strong growth in spending by Chinese customers in Europe and Japan, it says.
In Q4, organic sales growth was 1%, up from Q3.
FY 2024 operating income before non-recurring items came to E19.6bn (vs. E22.80bn in 2023), giving an operating margin of 23.1%. Operating income before non-recurring items of Fashion & Leather goods was E15.23bn, down 10% from the previous year.
Group net income came to 12.6 billion euros in 2024 (-17% from E15.17bn in 2023). Free cash flow was E10.5bn, up 29%.
