BAE Systems: £285m contract with Royal Navy
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems announces that it has been awarded a £285m contract by the UK Ministry of Defence for the RECODE program.
This 8-year project aims to modernise the Royal Navy's combat management systems, warship networks and shared infrastructure, ensuring security, availability and agility.
RECODE will cover 20 ships, including the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carriers, Type 45 destroyers and Type 26 frigates, incorporating a DevSecOps methodology to accelerate capability deployment.
This contract extends 13 years of collaboration with the Royal Navy.
