Siemens Energy: UBS still a seller

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS underlines the good start to FY 2025, particularly regarding FCF.
However, the analyst confirms his sell recommendation on the stock, with an unchanged TP of E38.

Siemens Energy announced preliminary results for Q1 2025, with orders of E13.7bn, down 10.2% y-o-y (on difficult comparatives), although ahead of consensus by c. 7%. Sales amounted to E8.9bn, up 18.4% from last year, and 5% ahead of consensus, UBS says.

Pre-tax free cash flow stood at E1.52bn in Q1 2025 (vs. -E283m in 2024).

The company expects to exceed its current pre-tax FCF target for FY 2025, set at E1bn, and to update this forecast when it announces its interim results.
