LVMH: minority stake sold to Stella McCartney
(CercleFinance.com) - LVMH has announced that after more than five years of fruitful collaboration, British fashion designer Stella McCartney has decided to buy back the minority stake held by the luxury giant in the house she founded.
This new chapter reflects Stella McCartney's desire to write a new page in her history in complete independence, after having worked closely with the group to strengthen the fundamentals and governance of her house, LVMH explained.
Stella McCartney will also continue to advise Bernard Arnault and the LVMH management teams on environmental issues as Global Ambassador for Sustainable Development.
