Nokia: API partnership with Singapore's StarHub
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish equipment manufacturer Nokia announced on Thursday that it would be joining forces with Singaporean telecoms operator StarHub in the field of application programming interfaces (APIs) dedicated to 4G and 5G enterprise networks.
The partners explain that they want to help developers create applications for monitoring device status or quality of service for organizations in the banking, finance, port infrastructure, online streaming or public administration sectors.
StarHub plans to use its 'Network as Code' application automation and deployment platform, already in use by some 40 operators including BT, Orange and Telefonica, as part of the project.
