
Eiffage: pens contract exceeding E100m in Congo
(CercleFinance.com) - Via its subsidiary Eiffage Génie Civil Marine, Eiffage has won the design-build contract to renovate and extend the container terminal at the port of Matadi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The contract is worth over E100m.
The contract includes the construction of a new 350-metre long by 30-metre wide pile quay in front of the existing quays 5, 6 and 7, three 20-metre wide access gangways across the existing quay, an operations building and a workshop building, as well as the refurbishment of the 7-hectare logistics platform.
The contract is set to last 27 months.
