Saint-Gobain: decarbonation systems for Schneider
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announced on Monday that it had supplied a range of decarbonation technologies as part of the renovation of Schneider Electric's Italian headquarters.
The French building materials manufacturer says it has delivered its thermal insulation, roof insulation and solar-control glazing systems to the electrical installation giant.
The work carried out on the building's main façade was notably based on the use of its 'Cool-Lite' glazing, designed to minimise environmental impact by limiting greenhouse gas emissions throughout the life cycle.
Saint-Gobain also contributed its high-performance phenolic resin ring process, designed to provide a high degree of protection against atmospheric agents as well as effective thermal insulation.
The roof insulation package consists of lightweight 'Isover' panels and 'Bituver Bitumastic' mastic in water emulsion.
Schneider Electric's Italian headquarters in Stezzano, near Bergamo, houses the offices of general management, human resources, marketing, the sales area, administration and technical training.
