
Crédit Agricole: launches energy transition fund
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole announces the launch of 'CATI' (Crédit Agricole Transition Infrastructure Debt Fund), a fund aimed at financing French and European companies deploying infrastructure projects contributing to a less carbon-intensive economy.
Underwritten by Predica, Crédit Agricole Assurances' life insurance subsidiary, the fund will include receivables from Crédit Agricole CIB and the Regional Banks. With an investment capacity of E300m, it will be managed by RGREEN INVEST.
This debt fund will focus primarily on financing energy transition infrastructure projects eligible for the European taxonomy. It may also diversify its investments into other types of low-carbon infrastructure.
