
Saint-Gobain: launches 100%-recycled plaster
(CercleFinance.com) - After launching France's first plasterboard containing at least 50% recycled plaster in 2022, Saint-Gobain has announced the UK launch of a board made from 100%-recycled plaster, a world first for the group.
Developed by Saint-Gobain's UK subsidiary British Gypsum, Gyproc SoundBloc Infinaé 100 uses waste plaster from construction sites, helping companies in the sector to meet their sustainability targets.
Building on its recycling expertise, British Gypsum offers a worksite materials collection service, covering not only plasterboard, but also products such as drywall adhesives and plasters.
