(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of UniCredit CNP Vita by UniCredit, both Italian.
UniCredit CNP Vita was previously jointly controlled by UniCredit and CNP Assurances de France.
The transaction mainly concerns the insurance sector.
The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction and the limited impact on market structure.
