GTT: order for tank designs for 6 LNG carriers
(CercleFinance.com) - GTT has announced that, in Q1 2025, it has received an order from its partner, the Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group), to design the tanks for six new very large LNG carriers.
These six LNG carriers will each offer a total capacity of 271,000 m³, and will incorporate the NO96 Super+ membrane containment system developed by GTT.
The ships are scheduled for delivery in Q2 2028, Q2 and Q3 2029, Q1 and Q3 2031.
