BASF: launches sustainable cosmetics formulations
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces the presentation, at the Cosmet'Agora trade show in Paris on 14 and 15 January, of a new concept of innovative formulations focused on sustainability.
BASF says that these solutions meet the expectations of environmentally conscious consumers, while addressing the challenges of personal care in the face of climate change.
The concept, built around four themes (Hydrating & Cooling, Cleansing & Protection, UV Protection, Optimistic Glow), offers moisturizing, cleansing and protective products based on sustainable ingredients such as non-volatile emollients, alternatives to silicones, and broad-spectrum sun protection solutions.
BASF also highlights formulations for natural make-up and biodegradable hair care.
