
Porsche: -3% vehicle deliveries in 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Porsche has announced that it delivered 310,718 vehicles worldwide in 2024, down 3% from 2023.
In Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche delivered a total of 75,899 cars over the period, up 8%. In Germany, the number of vehicles delivered rose by 11% to 35,858. Finally, in North America, vehicle deliveries rose by 1% to 86,541 vehicles.
In China, by contrast, the sports car maker delivered 56,887 vehicles to its customers, down 28%.
Overall, we proved our great robustness in 2024, in a demanding market environment. We have invested a great deal in our brand, and we are delighted to note that the distribution of our sales across the different regions of the world remains very balanced, Porsche said.
The carmaker points out that it will have thoroughly renewed its product range in 2024, with a generation change for four of the six model lines: Panamera, Taycan, 911 and Macan.
Porsche adds that the share of electrified sports cars has risen from 22% to 27%. Note that almost half of these vehicles were fully electric.
