
Enel: successful E2bn bond issue

p.A. announces the successful issue of new non-convertible subordinated perpetual hybrid bonds totaling E2bn to institutional investors.
The issue was more than three times oversubscribed, with demand reaching E6.8bn, enabling an average cost below market value and an average coupon of 4.375%.
The operation, in line with the 2025-2027 strategic plan, aims to optimize the cost of capital to support industrial investments.
Two series of bonds have been issued, each in the amount of E1bn, with initial fixed coupons of 4.250% and 4.500% respectively, and reset dates set in 2030 and 2033.
The securities will be listed on Euronext Dublin, with an expected rating of Baa3/BB+/BBB- and an equity content of 50%.
