Sodexo: Q1 sales up nearly 2%
(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo posted Q1 2025 sales of E6.
4bn, up +1.9% y-o-y, including a negative currency effect of -2% and a contribution from acquisitions, net of divestitures, of -0.8%.
The service group's organic growth came to +4.6%, fueled by price increases, which now hover around 3% during the quarter, with the balance reflecting the net contribution of new signings and volume growth.
The solid performance of Foodservices (+5.7%) offsets the more moderate activity of Facilities Management services (+2.4%), for which we are seeing a decline in volumes in one-off projects, management says.
Sodexo maintains its targets for the current fiscal year, i.e. organic sales growth of +5.5% to +6.5%, as well as a 30bp-40bp increase in its operating margin at constant exchange rates.
