Bpost: to double number of parcel outlets in 2025
(CercleFinance.com) - bpost announced on Friday that it had installed a record number of parcel dispensers in 2024 and plans to double this number in 2025.
The postal operator says its Belgian network now has over 1,260 dispensers, up over 40% compared with the end of 2023.
By 2025, bpost plans to install more than 1,200 additional dispensers, doubling its current network to meet growing consumer demand.
This announcement comes at a time when the number of Belgians having their parcels delivered in dispensers rose by 44% last year.
As the new parcel dispensers are generally larger and more efficient, the number of available crates is set to triple, from 50,000 today to 150,000 by the end of 2025.
