Netflix: exceptional ratings for NFL games
(CercleFinance.com) - Netflix announced on Friday that it had achieved historic audience ratings with the live broadcast of its first American football games.
The American streaming giant reports that the two games broadcast on Christmas Day - Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - each attracted over 24 million viewers, based on Nielsen figures.
A peak audience of over 27 million was reached during Beyoncé's half-time concert at the Ravens-Texans game.
This was the first time that Netflix offered NFL Christmas games, as part of the Californian group's three-season partnership with the National Football League.
